The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is organizing “The 4th International Conference on Advances in Materials and Materials Processing (iCAMMP-iv) during 5th to 7th November 2016. The iCAMMP-iv is being organized for the fourth time in succession with the earlier three events in 2002, 2006 and 2011. The conference will extend a platform to the professionals from academic institutions, universities, research laboratories and industries to meet and discuss common issues pertaining to the research and development in Materials Engineering.
The organizing committee of the iCAMMP-iv invites you to share your latest scientific results with the world’s Materials Engineering community at IIT Kharagpur, India. The conference will cover all aspects of Materials Engineering through the following theme-based symposia:
Prof. S.K. Roy symposium on 'Surface Engineering and Corrosion'
Prof. K.K. Ray symposium on 'Deformation and Fracture'
Prof. S.K. Pabi symposium on 'Nano-materials for Structural, Functional and Energy Applications'
Prof. M. Chakraborty symposium on 'Advanced Techniques in Materials Processing'
'Modern Trends in Extractive Metallurgy'
'Glass, Ceramics, Composites and High Temperature Materials'
'Advances in characterization of microstructure and texture'
'Computational Materials Science'
The organizing committee and the Scientific Advisory Committee are continuously working on making this event a real success. However, the final scientific success will depend on the contribution, so we hope to welcome you in Kharagpur in 2016!
